Suzanne McHaley Doyle '57

Since late last year Suzanne, has been seeking some answer as to what was causing her to feel unwell. This summer she finally was given the proper test which revealed she had ovarian cancer. Her surgery was performed in July. She has completed a round of chemo, but her numbers are still not in the normal range...Please continue to remember Suzanne in your prayers.

She has been blessed with so many wonderful friends, neighbors and especially the women in the Girl Scout troop that was formed in grammar school and active all through high school. Such a lifetime friendship is proving to be of great meaning now. She would welcome your prayers and good wishes as she fights this battle, and would love to hear from classmates.

Kari Hulbert Cantu '57
Kari's five-year-old granddaughter, Erica, has leukemia and just started the second phase of treatment which will go until July 27, 2011 (2 Years).  Her white blood cell count was finally up this week so she could go out to dinner and play at the neighbors. Truly a miracle. 

We ask that you remember Erica, her mother, Yvette, Kari and her family in prayer and in your thoughts.
